Eagerly waiting…
It’s been about a week now since I noticed the Nemetschek site would be announcing the new release of the VectorWorks family. September 13th tomorrow, I will be tuning in online watching and hoping for great new improvements and features. I have loved Vectorworks for many years, I am a long time AutoCAD user, but over the years have switched most of my work to VW. I had a 10 year head start using AutoCAD for CADD, starting in the early days, yes even on a DOS based PC system, around 1988!
I started out on AutoCAD and today I still use it for about 10% of my work. From the first time I used VectorWorks I was hooked, it’s just a fantastic flexible and creative platform. And today about 90% of my CAD and Mapping work, I have switched over to VW.
So tomorrow I will be watching and hopping that the folks at Nemetschek have added some of the features on my wish list…
